Grapevine Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection (Review)
Grapevine A/W 2013 collection went on the simple, clean and classy route. The styling of this collection on the runway with pearls and hats, truly portrayed the unique essence of the Grapevine woman. Satin was the order of the day for this collection mixed with a pop of green, maroon, floral and nude colors to complete each look.
Brief Brand Bio:
Johannesburg is the inspiration for the elegant and sophisticated Grapevine brand. Like the city of gold Grapevine embodies assertiveness, ambition and passion. While maintaining a strong historical influence the brand also embraces the new. Grapevine not only focuses on the look of the garments but also the fit and feel, with a mind to rich textures and earthy colours.
The mind behind the Grapevine brand is Khomotjo Malatjie. She is certainly an influential South African designer and the Grapevine brand, an ode to bustling, cosmopolitan city that is Johannesburg. (AFI.com)
